"We are taught what to memorize but not how to memorize" this is what Shri Nishanth Kaslibatla told on the eve of 24th May\' 2008, Saturday during the Arivu programme conducted by Kannada Sangha. A unique Seminar on "Techniques of attaining a phenomenal memory" had an overwhelming response from Kannada sangha members. On the evening at SP Jain, this interactive program was filled with Humour and demonstrations from the Memory Grand Master Shri Nishanth.
After a brief introduction on SP Jain Centre of Management - one of our co-sponsor for this program, Shri Madan M.C. introduced Shri Nishanth to audience. Shri Nishanth is known for memorizing 1944 digits number in one go, he demonstrated a sub set of the same by memorizing and repeating 30 random numbers. Thrilling moment was when he repeated the numbers in the reverse order.
He showed the path on how one can improve the memory and filled a lot of confidence in the audience. At the end of the program, we had live practice Memory demonstration in technique of memorizing – where the selected audience demonstrated that 20 unrelated words can be remembered and reproduced in forward/reverse sequence, with just less than 3 minutes of special attention. This was the Arivu program was intended to benefit children in addition to the adults. About 20 children who were present outsmarted the adults, by means of their active participation and demonstrations.
