Saturday evening, when it is time to relax, go shopping or just spend time with the near and dear ones, almost a hundred people turned up to listen intently to a talk on entrepreneurship by Shri. R. Narayanamohan, Senior Partner, Natarajan and Swaminathan, Certified Public Accountants. The seminar was held at the S. P. Jain Center of Management, Singapore under the auspices of Kannada Sangha Singapore, on 01-Dec-2007.

As is customary, the event started off with a short welcome by Shri. Ramadas, President, Kannada Sangha Singapore followed by a brief introduction of the Co-sponsors of the event S. P. Jain Center of Management by their Vice President of Marketing, Smt. Nirmala Subramanian as a recognized seat of higher learning. Shri. Ramadas introduced the speaker Shri. R. Narayanamohan to the audience.

Shri. Narayanamohan, in his own inimitable style, presented the topic of Entrepreneurship in Singapore to the gathering over the next hour and a half. He gave many real life anecdotes, to not only liven up the proceedings but also, to highlight the spirit of entrepreneurship that is found in many facets of daily life. He ensured that the participants were fully engaged throughout the session and this was evident by the number of questions that came up during the concluding Q&A session, which in itself was very informative. Participants received a brief handout on the subject for their leisurely reference. The program concluded with vote of thanks, followed by light refreshments.

Kannada Sangha Singapore, in its quest to keep the members engaged, presented this programme under its ARIVU series. It was also presented free of charge due to the active support of S. P. Jain Center of Management in the form of free use of their premises. Mention must also be made of the other co-sponsor Shri. Chandru M of ERA Realty for his active support and for being an example of an entrepreneur.
