Kannada Sangha (Singapore)
takes great pleasure in inviting nominations for

\\\\\\\'SINGARA PURASKAARA - 2009\\\\\\\'.

This award, instituted by Kannada Sangha in 2000, aims to recognize & honor the achievements of our members & their immediate family members in various fields. Candidates with outstanding achievements in the following fields can be nominated to receive this prestigious award for their achievements during the calendar year 2008.

1. Education (with top grades in landmark exams)
2. Sports (with achievements at National & International levels)
3. Extra Curricular Activities (with Top Class Achievements in Literature, Music, Dance, Drama, Arts & other similar activities)

Please find enclosed the Nomination form.

Last Date for Submission of Nomination: 5th October 2009.

Please ensure that the following documents are submitted along with your nomination:

i) Completed & signed Nomination Form
ii) Supporting documents as appropriate
iii) A brief write-up about the candidate & his/her achievements

Please note:

The achievements should be during the calendar year 2008.
The nominated person should be a member of Kannada Sangha OR an immediate family member of a person who is a member of Kannada Sangha.
The decisions of the committee will be final with respect to these awards.
